Let's get one thing straight about the Casino Royale right from the start - despite its name this is not the sort of place you would expect to find James Bond lounging around in. Surrounded by the mega-resorts of Caesars Palace, Mirage, Treasure Island, and Venetian, the buildings that make up Casino Royale are smaller than the Pirate Village that's just for show at the Treasure Island! All that said, Casino Royale is an oasis from the scale of the other casinos. And if you're on a budget, you'll be at home with nickel Video-Poker and low limit tables.

Sometimes you wonder how a place like this makes money surrounded by so many vastly more impressive casinos, but I suppose there must be demand for a smaller scale casino. The other thing in Casino Royale's favour is the 24 hour Denny's restaurant that's part of it! Where else in Las Vegas can you play nickel poker and then walk 10 feet for a slap-up Denny's breakfast?!!
If you want to stay here, there's a couple of hundred rooms - motel-style tucked round the back and completely dwarfed by The Venetians parking lot!!!
