The World's First Rock and Roll Hotel and Casino (well that's what the hype would have you believe anyway!) the Hard Rock Hotel is a natural extension of the Hard Rock Cafe concept.
What is a little odd about the place is the fact that there is also a Hard Rock Cafe - right next door, but with a different car park, and seemingly no direct connection to the hotel.

Still, the casino itself is quite cool, with the Rock theme being pursued all the way through (right down to the casino chips, which have pictures of various artists on them). Being off-strip and not near any other casinos, it feels exclusive - and not that busy. The casino itself is not over-crowded with tables and slot machines - as so many of the other smaller casinos are, and so feels spacious despite its relatively small size. If you're looking for something a little different in Las Vegas (apparently you can still hear background music in the pool) and like the Hard Rock Cafe idea, then this could be the place for you.
